French president Hollande and Fidel Castro met, a few days ago in Havana. I don’t know about you but I can’t help being a bit ironical when I see the Cuban commander in chief wearing his famous-brand-that-I-won’t-name-but-that-everybody-knows tracksuit. I find it strange that labels are being blurred on TV when worn by unknowns but that one of them is so highligted that it almost dwarfs el comandante. Who would have guessed that revolución would serve advertising? Who would have thought that an iconic brand would have sponsored a revolutionary icon? Times are changing.
